Delegates may attend EDUMUN 2019 as part of a delegation (often a school Model UN club) or as independent delegates.
Those attending with a delegation should not register until after their advisor or head delegate confirms that they may do so. When registering, if they do not find their school listed, delegates attending with a delegation should contact their advisor. Additionally, if these delegates are not directed to pay via PayPal at the end of the form, then payment will be collected by the delegation advisor as a part of group payment.
Delegates attending as independent delegates (without a delegation), may register using the Delegate Registration form at any time and should select “Independent Delegate” where the form asks for what delegation they are attending with.
To attend EDUMUN 2019 as a school delegation, a delegation representative (usually an advisor or head delegate) must first complete the Delegation Registration form.
As a part of this form, the representative must indicate whether their delegates will pay individually or as a group. Should they select group payment, their delegation will be invoiced on a later date for the total cost of the delegation’s registration. Please note that the total cost will be calculated with respect to the registration period in which each delegate registers individually. If individual payment is selected, each delegate in the delegation will be required to pay as a part of the Delegate Registration form.
Once the Delegation Registration form is submitted, the advisor and head delegate will receive an email notifying them that their delegates may register using the Delegate Registration form.
EDUMUN is committed to remaining accessible to delegates of all socioeconomic backgrounds. Our goal is to support any and all delegates that may otherwise be unable to attend the conference. If you would like to request financial aid, please complete the Financial Aid Form before registering with the Delegate Registration Form because you will be asked to upload the Financial Aid Form as a part of the Delegate Registration Form. Finance reviews each financial aid application on a case-by-case basis and will notify delegates on their application’s status within 48 hours of submission.
